About SongBattle

Our mission

Great music gets buried every day under algorithms and pay-to-play playlists. We built SongBattle to give independent and unsigned artists a fair, transparent shot at being heard — where the crowd decides, not a gatekeeper. Every entrant gets a profile, promotion, and a real chance at a growing prize pool.

How it works

• •Artists enter. Musicians submit a song, a music video, a bio, and their socials. Each entry is reviewed before it goes live.
• •Fans vote. Anyone can watch, discover, and vote for their favorite artists — for free, no account required. Voting is protected by anti-fraud checks so results stay fair.
• •Talent wins. When the competition ends, the artist with the most verified votes takes home the grand prize, and every entrant gets promoted along the way.

Where the prize money comes from

The current competition is free to enter, so the prize is set and funded directly by SongBattle — it’s a fixed amount announced up front rather than a pool that grows with entries. Prizes are paid to winning artists within 14 days of the results being announced.

Fair play & transparency

Every vote is checked. We use device fingerprinting, IP analysis, and a CAPTCHA to stop bots and vote-buying, and we hold suspicious votes for review before they count. Vote manipulation disqualifies the artist who benefits from it. We never sell your personal data — see our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
